Local middle school students match wits in robotics competition
Hundreds of middle schoolers got the chance to show off their engineering skills at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama’s robotics competition.
Local robotics teams got to go head-to-head with their robots in several competitions.
This is HMMA’s fifth year hosting this competition, encouraging students to get involved with robotics and engineering at a young age.
Since 2019, HMMA has partnered with local school systems and Auburn University’s Southeastern Center of Robotics Education to establish robotics teams at public schools.
285 students across Montgomery Public Schools, Selma City Schools and Autauga County Schools got to compete in the two-day competition.
