Turkey Day Classic set to return in 2026
In 2026, a beloved HBCU tradition is set to return to the field. Both Alabama State and Tuskegee have come to a one-year agreement for the 102nd edition of the Turkey Day Classic to be played.
“While longevity is the goal in this type of long-standing rivalry, we at ASU feel this is definitely a step in the right direction,” said Dr. Cable. “The Turkey Day Classic is a historic matchup, and we look forward to continuing this tradition and celebrating the legacy of this rivalry on Thanksgiving.”
