ACTION 8 WEATHER AUTHORITY: We continue to sit in the deep freeze. Arctic air will linger over us through Monday morning. Temperatures will fall into the upper teens to lower 20s tonight. The thaw begins Monday and we’re climbing into the 50s during the afternoon hours.
Temperatures trend milder early next week, with highs in the 60s Tuesday afternoon. Another front brings a chance for rain late Tuesday evening into early Wednesday. The rest of next week looks slightly cooler, but near seasonable for early February. At this time, the end of next week and next weekend look dry with sunshine.
