Greenville High School recognized as a Legislative School Performance Recognition Program

 

Greenville High School has been recognized by the Alabama State Department of Education as a Legislative School Performance Recognition Program for the 2024–2025 school year.

The State Department of Education honors schools who have either improved their overall grade or performed in the top 25 percent of public schools. In just one year Greenville High School went from failing to improving by more than 25 points, something never before

The goal is to educate students who’re prepared for the future by implementing new teaching practices and utilizing AI coupled with hands on education transforms the limitations of students and teachers resulting in an increased graduation rate from roughly 70 to 95% .

As one of the top 25 schools statewide in this category, Greenville High School will also receive a monetary award in recognition of its achievement.
