Montgomery 8th grade students learn important health lessons

Some Montgomery 8th grade students got to learn all about health and fitness from professionals.

The Central Montgomery Optimist Club hosted a health fair at McKee Middle School. Dozens of specialists spoke to the students about the different ways to stay physically and mentally healthy.

Table representatives were also there to present information on different topics, like physical therapy, dentistry, pediatrics and even financial health.

Organizers say they hope the students gain important information on how to live healthy lives, by learning about healthy living early in life.
