ACTION 8 UPDATE: A manhunt in Butler County has been canceled because it’s believed that the suspect is no longer in the area.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office had been conducting the manhunt on Honoraville Road in the Midway community with the help of state K-9 units and a helicopter.

The sheriff’s office says the search began when deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call in the Rolling Hills and South Mt. Zion Road area. They say the suspect fled, leading deputies on a high-speed chase that ended when his vehicle crashed. The suspect then ran into the woods.

The sheriff’s office has learned more about the suspect. They say he is 34-year-old Andreus Coleman of Fort Deposit.  He is a Black male, about 5’7″ tall and 150 pounds.
