Greenville Church preparing for their annual MLK Freedom Walk

Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church is preparing for their annual MLK Freedom Walk
The walk is held to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King’s visit to Greenville. Dr. King spoke at the Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church on December 9, 1965. Dr. King’s message delivered in the same pulpit so many years ago of unity is the inspiration for the walk. As organizers hope to continue spreading the message of unity amongst all nationalities.
The MLK Freedom walk will be Saturday February 14th at 10 am starting from Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church over to Perdue Street.
