Selma firefighters battle commercial fire

A fire investigation is underway in Selma following a structure fire at an old commercial building in the Selmont community.

Selma Fire and Rescue responded around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to the Take Over night spot at the corner of Hood Avenue and Idaho Street.

Once firefighters arrived, thjey found the building fully involved with flames shooting out of the top of the building.

Chief Walter Dailey says it took about 30 minutes for fire crews to get it under contol.

No one was injured in the fire.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
