Two men shot on South Union Street in Montgomery

Two men have been injured after being shot on South Union Street in Montgomery.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that the shooting happened just before 6:30 last night. Police were called to a hospital where a man was being treated for a life-threatening gunshot wound. McGriff said it appeared he had been shot in the 900 block of South Union Street, which is in the area of the Patterson Court public housing neighborhood.

McGriff said later, a second man was found in that area with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was also taken to a hospital for treatment.

No other information has been released.
