Mardi Gras parade runs through a packed downtown Prattville

Downtown Prattville was full of people for their Mardi Gras parade Saturday.

The parade ran all the way through downtown on Main Street and ended at Stanley-Jensen Stadium. Many of the floats that came through threw beads, candy, and rubber ducks.

Action 8’s own Morgan Marshall, Savanna Sabb, and Cameron LeJeune were in the parade in the Thundertruck throwing out Mardi Gras beads.

After the parade, attendees were able to attend the Mardi Gras festival where there were local food and business vendors, live music, as well as games for the kids.

The festival lasted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the parade was at noon.
