Montgomery police SUV in wreck while responding to 911 call about shots fired
Montgomery police are still piecing together what happened when they got a 911 call reporting gunfire, which led to a wreck involving a patrol vehicle.
As we reported to you, there was a large police presence yesterday afternoon in the area of Vaughn, Carter Hill and Zelda roads.
An Action 8 News crew got video of a wrecked police SUV along with another damaged vehicle.
We talked with police again this morning, who tell us that no one was hurt in either the wreck or connected to the report of gunfire.
They say there is no connection to Montgomery Academy, which is in the area.
Police are reviewing camera video today.
