Woman shot on Woodley Road in Montgomery

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that just after 10PM last night, they were called to a hospital where someone was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound. She says they found a woman suffering from what’s believed to be a non-life threatening injury.

McGriff said preliminary investigation determined that the shooting happened in the 3200 block of Woodley Road, which is just outside of the bypass.
