Birmingham-based Milo’s Hamburgers has announced the closing of its location at EastChase in Montgomery.

The company said:

“We’re grateful for the EastChase Montgomery community and all of the memories we made here. We’d love to continue serving you at one of our nearby restaurants, including our Clanton and Auburn locations. Click the link below to find your nearest Milo’s. We’ll see ya soon!”

Milo’s was founded in Birmingham in 1946. Its signature hamburgers have a secret sauce that made them a favorite for generations, especially in the Birmingham area where Milo’s is an institution.

With the closing of the Montgomery location, there are 22 Milo’s restaurants listed on the company’s website.

Milo’s had a location on Atlanta Highway in Montgomery in the 2000s, which eventually closed, leaving the city without a Milo’s until the opening of the EastChase restaurant. In addition, there was a Milo’s on Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville that closed in 2023.

The nearest Milo’s restaurants to our area are in Auburn and Clanton.
