A Dadeville man faces drug trafficking charges following a chase in Tallapoosa County.

The Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force says yesterday, a sheriff’s deputy tried to stop a vehicle on Agricola Road in Dadeville for a traffic violation. It says the driver refused to stop and led deputies on a chase at speeds of 80MPH. The chase ended on North Thornton Road, where the vehicle ran off the road and became stuck.

The task force says a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 2.5 pounds of marijuana and a handgun.

Investigators then went to a home in the 5000 block of Tallapoosa County Road 34 in Dadeville. After a search, investigators say they found an additional one pound of marijuana, THC Gummies, digital scales, $6,946 in cash and four more guns, one of which was stolen.

26-year-old Kadore Tyrese Glenn has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking, tampering with physical evidence, attempting to elude law enforcement, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana 1st degree, receiving stolen property, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia, investigators say.
