Periods Of Rain/T-storms This Weekend

A frontal boundary will move into the state and stall over the weekend.  We expect more showers and t-storms to develop.  There is a marginal risk (1 out of 5) for severe storms Saturday. The main threat will be damaging wind gust up to 60s mph.   Temperatures still manage to climb into the 80s for highs with lows only in the low 60s. Sunday is looking mainly cloudy with periods of rain and temps down into the lower to mid 70s for highs.

Next week starts out with additional showers and t-storms on Monday.  We don’t see much rain activity for Tuesday but another frontal system will be approaching the state Wednesday.  Showers and t-storms are likely for Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.  There could be another round of strong to possibly severe storms with this frontal passage.  Sunshine and slightly cooler air will be setting up for Friday into that following weekend.

A reminder: this will be the weekend we move our clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.
