Spring officially begins on Friday and it will finally begin to feel like it. Temps will be warming and we’re climbing into the upper 70s to lower 80s for highs. It’s a warming trend that will be sticking around for a while.
In the meantime, we expect a mostly clear sky with temps dropping into the mid to upper 30s overnight. The clear sky and calm wind will lead to some patchy frost in spots. We begin a warming trend Thursday afternoon.  High pressure will be over the area and we’re expecting lots of sunshine.  Temps will respond and we’re nudging 70 degrees in spots. The warming will continue and we’re topping out around 80 degrees Friday afternoon.
The upcoming weekend will be trending even warmer. Abundant sunshine will continue to feel the sky and temps will respond. We see 80s for highs and lows only in the 50s both Saturday and Sunday. A frontal boundary will move through the state early next week. The warming will be temporarily halted Tuesday into Wednesday. . Daytime temps fall back into the 70s for for highs and lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
