Man killed in single vehicle crash in Chilton County
A man from Plantersville has died after a single vehicle crash in Chilton County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA says the crash happened around 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, on Alabama 22, about 9 miles west of Clanton in Chilton County.
Troopers say the man, identified as 63-year-old Donald R. Wright, was killed when the truck he was driving left the roadway, hit a mailbox, and then hit a tree. ALEA says Wright died at the scene.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
