Montgomery City Council member Julie Turner Beard planning Town Hall, Easter Egg Hunt

Montgomery District 2 City Council member Julie Turner Beard is planning a town hall meeting with residents in her district, plus an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.

Beard says she hosts a town hall meeting once a quarter to hear from people in her part of the city. This will be her 10th town hall. She expects that people will have questions about road work, sanitation and other issues.

The town hall meeting will be Monday, March 23, from 6-7PM at Dalraida Baptist Church, 3838 Wares Ferry Road.

The Easter Egg Hunt will feature the Easter Bunny himself and plenty of eggs for children up through the age of 12 to find. It will be held at Exchange Park, 850 Coliseum Boulevard on Saturday, March 28, from 10-11:30AM. The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10:30AM. It’s in partnership with the Coliseum branch library.
