Thousands attend the 2026 SLE Rodeo in Montgomery Sunday
Thousands filled Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery for the SLE Rodeo Sunday.
The 69th Annual SLE Rodeo featured eight different rodeo events that included Bull riding, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and much more.
People were entertained by Dusty Myers the Rodeo Clown in between events as he cracked jokes and performed skits for everyone.
In case you missed it, there were even monkeys riding dogs as well!
It was an afternoon full of entertainment as cowboys and cowgirls put on their hats and put on a show for everyone in the capital city.
“This is my first year, but I love the barrel racing. That is what I used to want to do as a kid, and then I fell in love with pigs, so I just do that now,” said rodeo attendee, Angel Gross.
“I love seeing quality stock and quality riders, it’s just like a baseball game to some people, just good clean American fun,” said Nancy Blunt, long-time rodeo attendee.
The SLE rodeo has been putting on a show since 1958.
