No rain, up and down temperatures this week due to two cold fronts
After a sunny, dry, and warm weekend, not much changed Monday morning. Some fair-weather clouds mix with sunshine Monday afternoon across central and south Alabama as a cold front moves through our area. However, our area remains dry. Winds turn to the northwest at around 10 mph Monday afternoon, but temperatures still warm to near or slightly above 80°. Monday night looks partly cloudy and a bit cooler with lows in the low 50s.
Tuesday remains cooler with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. High temperatures range from the low to mid 70s. Wednesday also looks cooler with highs in the low to mid 70s, a partly cloudy sky, and no mentionable chance for rain. Thursday and Friday look warmer again, with high temperatures in the low 80s. However, another cold front arrives Friday night.
The Friday night cold front also looks dry. That means no rain for central and south Alabama through this weekend. However, this weekend looks a bit cooler than this past weekend, with high temperatures in the low 70s Saturday and mid 70s Sunday. Overnight lows fall into the 40s both nights. Otherwise, the sky should be partly to mostly sunny both days. It looks like central and south Alabama may remain dry early next week to wrap up March.
