Cooler for now, warmer late this week, cooler again this weekend
Tuesday morning was on the cooler side, with low temperatures in the mid 40s to low 50s across central and south Alabama. Tuesday afternoon remains notably cooler than Monday, with near-normal high temperatures in the mid 70s. Otherwise, clouds may increase, especially west, by early evening. Until then, plenty of sunshine fills the sky with some fair-weather clouds in the mix. Tuesday night looks partly cloudy with lows in the mid 50s.
Wednesday remains a bit cooler too, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Otherwise, our area remains dry with a partly cloudy sky. Thursday and Friday also look dry with a partly cloudy sky. However, temperatures both days look warmer, with highs in the low to perhaps mid 80s. This weekend looks cooler again thanks to another cold front swinging through Alabama Friday night.
The front still looks unlikely to bring any rain to central and south Alabama. But temperatures only warm into the low 70s Saturday despite a partly to mostly sunny sky. Saturday night lows fall into the 40s. Sunday also looks partly to mostly sunny (and seasonable) with highs in the mid 70s. Sunday night lows fall into the 40s again. Our area may remain dry through the end of March, while temperatures trend warmer into the start of April.
