CenterPoint Church hosts their annual Easter Fest in Prattville
Over 1,000 people came out to CenterPoint Church in Prattville for Easter Fest on Sunday.
There was no shortage on fun things to do as kids of all ages were able to hunt eggs with candy inside, and there was rock-climbing, a petting zoo, and pony rides as well.
The fun included several different inflatables for kids to slide or shoot some hoops, and they could get their faces painted as well. Local businesses also came to give out snow cones and ice cream for everyone who came by.
The event was the perfect way to get people together for the Easter season.
“For us, it’s important to get a lot of people together all at one time, so that you make new friends. One of the things we find out over and over again, is that the more that people spend time online, the less time their actually around and engaging with friends, and church is all about relationships. In fact, that’s one of our taglines here, ‘It’s all about relationships.’ Relationships start by meeting people, and this is a great chance for people to meet new friends, maybe even reconnect with old ones, and be a part of the community. Especially at Easter time, a lot of people are saying ‘Hey, I’d be willing to check out visiting a church somewhere,’ so we love to give them the opportunity to come have some fun and get to know us a little bit,” said Lead Pastor at CenterPoint, John Schmidt.
CenterPoint has been hosting Easter Fest for several years in Prattville.
