Montgomery firefighters battle large house fire

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery firefighters have battled a large fire that left a home severely damaged.

Fire officials say the fire happened at a house on Ryan Street, which is near Ann Street in Midtown.

Investigators say that neighbors told them the house was vacant. No one was found inside the house.

The Montgomery Fire/Rescue Arson Division is on scene investigating the cause.
