Millbrook man killed in Coosa County crash
COOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A single-vehicle crash in Coosa County has claimed the life of a Millbrook man.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 231 near the 189 mile-marker, approximately two miles south of Rockford.
Troopers say 19-year-old Keith Young was fatally injured when the 2007 Honda accord he was driving, left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
Young, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers with the Highway Patrol Division are investigating the cause of the crash.
