2 dead, 2 injured in four separate shootings in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have been busy this weekend working several shootings, two of which were deadly.

The first one happened around 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of Rosa Parks Avenue.

Once officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

About three hours later, Montgomery police were called to another shooting in the 3400 block of Fountain Lane.

Once officers arrived, they found an adult male victim also with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Then around 11:35 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Day Street Road regarding a person shot.

Once they arrived, they found an adult male dead from a gunshot wound.

And just after midnight, officers were called to the 6300 block of Wares Ferry Road to a person shot.

Officers located a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

No word on suspects in either of these cases.
