Montgomery police charge juvenile in fatal shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have charged a juvenile suspect in a fatal shooting that happened near Zelda Road.

Police say they have charged a juvenile male with murder in the shooting death of 18-year-old Vincent Grider of Montgomery.

As Action 8 News has reported, Grider was shot around 6:30PM on Monday, April 6, in the 200 block of Gatsby Drive.

A juvenile male was also shot and suffered life-threatening injuries. He and Grider were taken to a hospital, where Grider died.

The suspect is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
