Mainly dry with gradual warming this week, some rain this weekend

A strong cold front moved through our area over the weekend. Sunday was a cool and windy day despite sunshine as a result. Monday morning temperatures fell into the 40s in most locations prior to sunrise. However, Monday afternoon trends much warmer, with high temperatures in the upper 70s. The sky remains partly to mostly sunny Monday. Monday night looks mostly clear and cool, with lows in the mid to upper 40s.

Tuesday looks like a partly cloudy, dry, and warm day with high temperatures in the low 80s. Tuesday night lows fall into the 50s. Our area remains dry with a mix of sun and clouds and high temperatures in the mid 80s. Thursday and Friday look partly cloudy and mainly dry with high temperatures in the mid 80s. Chances for rain return this weekend. However, Saturday and Sunday’s rain coverage looks isolated to widely scattered.

Otherwise, high temperatures remain in the mid 80s this weekend with lows in the low 60s.
