Montgomery Hot Air Balloon Festival postponed
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Organizers of the upcoming Hot Air Balloon Festival in Montgomery have postponed their event due to weather conditions.
According to an announcement on its website, “Due to the forecasted weather and out of an abundance of caution to ensure the best and safest experience for everyone, we have made the decision to postpone the event.”
Rain is a possibility over the weekend in Montgomery.
The festival is now scheduled for July 17-18.
Organizers say all existing tickets will automatically be honored for the new dates.
