Town of Pike Road breaks ground on new fire station and training facility
PIKE ROAD, Ala. (WAKA) – The Town of Pike Road has officially broken ground on a new fire station and training facility.
The new facility will be located on Wallahatchie Road across from the current main fire station.
In addition to being a fully operational fire station, it will be equipped with classrooms and training areas.
Officials say it will provide local first responders, emergency personnel and volunteers with the essential training resources needed to support the rapidly growing community.
The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2027.
