Uniontown woman killed in Dallas County crash
DALLAS COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A Uniontown woman has been killed in a single-car crash in Dallas County.
Alabama State Troopers say 43-year-old Kimeia Bennett was riding in a car that left the roadway, hit a guardrail and overturned. Investigators say she wasn’t using a seat belt, was thrown out of the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 25-year-old Keshaun Jones of Uniontown, and another passenger, 35-year-old Kanisha Bennett of Tuscaloosa, were injured and taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma for treatment.
The wreck happened at about 3:50AM today on U.S. Highway 80, about eight miles west of Selma.
