Male shot in Pike Road
PIKE ROAD, Ala. (WAKA) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Pike Road.
Details are limited, but it happened just before 3:00 a.m. at a home on York Street. That area is just off of Vaughn Road.
Montgomery County Chief Deputy Kevin Murphy says once his deputies arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound.
The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No word on his condition at this time.
Chief Deputy Murphy says while they haven’t taken anyone into custody, they do know that the suspect is a female.
