ACTION 8 UPDATE: Reward increased in unsolved Montgomery murder case
ACTION 8 UPDATE (WAKA) – The reward for information to help solve the 2020 murder of Keshon Gardner of Montgomery has just been increased.
CrimeStoppers says the reward has been increased from $5,000 to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
Police say on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at approximately 11:40AM, they were called to the 5900 block of Oakleigh Road in Regency Park in reference to a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers discovered Gardner, who was
pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have since identified a white Ford Fusion with dark tinted windows as a vehicle of interest believed to be connected to the fatal shooting.
The $7,500 reward is made up of $5,000 from CrimeStoppers and $2,500 from Montgomery City Council member Oronde Mitchell.
