Montgomery police investigating fatal shooting downtown
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police are investigating a shooting in downtown that left a man dead.
Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at around 6:30PM last night in the 300 block of North Decatur Street. which is near the Jefferson Street intersection, about a block from Madison Avenue.
Dozier said officers found the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information has been released.
