Montgomery man killed in Virginia interstate crash
ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WAKA) – Action 8 News has learned that a Montgomery man has been killed in a wreck on a Virginia interstate.
According to Lynchburg, Virginia, ABC TV station WSET, 82-year-old Foster Lee Ware, II, of Montgomery died in the crash, which happened just before 7AM yesterday.
Virginia State Police say Ware was a passenger in an SUV that was travelling on Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County. They say the driver lost control, ran off the interstate and struck some trees.
Ware was pronounced dead at the scene.
