Sunshine And Drier Conditions Returning

We’re heading into a quieter weather pattern this week.  Rain chances will be rather slim throughout the week and upcoming weekend.  Temps stay in check through midweek but there’s a summer-like warm up coming late in the weekend into early next week.

In the meantime, the clouds will be departing overnight.  The disturbance producing the shower across South Alabama will depart to our east and take the rain activity with it.  Temps will drop into the upper 50s for lows.

A weak frontal system will make its way across the state Wednesday.  There won’t be much moisture to work with, so rain chances will be slim to none.   High pressure will build in behind the frontal passage.  This will lead to abundant sunshine through the latter half of the week. Temps will climb into the lower 80s for highs.

We expect the sunshine and dry conditions to continue into the upcoming weekend. Temps will respond and it’s looking like upper 80s for highs.  We could even be nudging the 90 degree mark in a few spots early next week.
