Jada Coleman set to lead Eagles Volleyball

MONTGOMERY, Ala (WAKA)- Montgomery Academy (MA) Athletic Director Wright Ward announced today that Jada Coleman has been named the Eagles’ new Varsity Volleyball Head Coach. Coleman currently serves as MA’s Middle School Volleyball Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. She will take over the program following the departure of Coach Carly Falcione at the end of the 2025–26 school year.

“I want to thank Coach Ward, Head of School John McWilliams, and the entire MA administration and staff for the opportunity to lead this outstanding program. I am truly honored to step into this role and become part of the rich tradition of Montgomery Academy Volleyball. I look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships with our student-athletes while challenging and inspiring every level of the program — from middle school through varsity — to reach new heights. This season will be defined by hard work, commitment, growth, and memories that will last far beyond the walls of Sidhu Gymnasium. I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead. Let’s get to work. Go Eagles!”

“Throughout our search process, one thing became clear: we wanted a leader who values excellence, relationships, and the development of student-athletes both on and off the court. Coach Coleman exceeded those expectations at every turn. Past leaders of our volleyball program were consulted during the process and their strong support and endorsement of Coach Coleman spoke volumes about her readiness to lead the next chapter of MA Volleyball. She deeply understands the proud tradition of our program and is committed to building on that legacy through strong relationships, clear communication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the program.”

Originally from Florida, Coach Coleman built an outstanding playing career at Sneads High School, where she served as a four-year defensive starter and helped lead her program to four consecutive District, Regional, and State Championships. She continued her collegiate volleyball career at Florida Southwestern State College, competing as a libero while contributing to both an NJCAA National Championship and Conference Championship team. In 2023, Coach Coleman transferred to Troy University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology – Pre-Health.
