One man injured, another man in custody after shooting in Covington County
COVINGTON COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – Covington County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that involved two men.
Sheriff Blake Turman told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at around 3PM today on Pinecrest Drive near Old Searight Road. Deputies were called to investigate a domestic dispute between the men involving several gunshots.
Turman says one of the men is now in custody, while the other is being treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds. He says the area has been secured and there is no threat to the community.
The names of the men haven’t been released.
