Scattered daytime showers/storms through Friday and the weekend
Thursday morning was mainly cloudy, but shower and storm coverage was fairly low. A narrow band of heavier rain and some storms formed along highway 29 in far southwest Alabama early Thursday afternoon. That likely continues north through Thursday afternoon, gradually spreading rain across more of our area. Although, there may be rain-free locations Thursday. A partly to mostly cloudy sky in dry spots may result in high temperatures in the upper 80s.
