Sunny, low humidity, breezy Wednesday; Rain returns this weekend
Our Wednesday weather looks about as nice as possible in early June here in central and south Alabama. Our area remains dry with sunshine for the rest of Wednesday, with a brisk east wind gusting over 20 mph at times. Meanwhile, high temperatures range from the low to mid 80s, well below normal for early June in our area. Wednesday night looks mostly clear and refreshingly cool with lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Thursday and Friday remain dry with somewhat low humidity. The sky stays partly to mostly sunny each day, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s Thursday. Temperatures approach 90° Friday afternoon. Overnight temperatures look a bit warmer, but still fall into the 60s. Wind turn back to the south with higher humidity and chances for rain this weekend.
However, neither Saturday nor Sunday look like washouts. Afternoon shower and storms coverage may remain isolated Saturday. Sunday’s rain chance looks a bit higher with widely scattered showers and storms, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy sky with high temperatures in the 80s to low 90s each day.
