Dallas County man killed in pickup truck crash
DALLAS COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A Dallas County man has been killed after crashing the pickup truck he was driving.
Alabama State Troopers say 59-year-old Leonard Parten, Jr., of Plantersville was driving the truck, which left the road and hit a tree. Investigators say he wasn’t using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened at about 9:10AM today on Alabama Highway 219, about three miles north of Selma.
