Woman shot near Woodmere Boulevard in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A woman has been shot near Woodmere Boulevard in Montgomery.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that police were called to the 6100 block of Greta Place yesterday. They found the woman with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

McGriff said later, police were called to a hospital where a man had arrived with a gunshot wound. They believe he was connected to the shooting on Greta Place. McGriff says his injuries are also believed to be non-life threatening.
