Montgomery Public Schools looking for cafeteria workers for new school year
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery Public Schools is need of cafeteria workers for the upcoming school year.
There are currently 25 openings across the school system.
Being a professional chef isn’t needed, just a passion for service to others. School leaders say workers will be taught how to prepare recipes.
They say hungry students can’t learn, so it is vital that children are fed nutritious meals, especially since some of them won’t get another good meal during their day.
A job fair will be held on Thursday, June 25, from 2PM-5PM at the MPS Leadership Center at 720 Grove Street.
