Woman critically injured in Montgomery house fire
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A woman has been critically injured in a Montgomery house fire.
It happened around 2:02 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of Alta Road.
Once firefighters arrived, they found a single-story home with flames showing through the roof.
Firefighters gained entry into the home and found an adult female inside.
She was rescued and received advance life support care before being taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
