What’s Happening: June 26-28

WHAT’S HAPPENING (WAKA) – Peaches take center stage this weekend, but there are also other celebrations happening across the River Region!

It’s time for the annual Peach Jam Jubilee in Clanton, with music, arts and crafts, hot air balloon rides and plenty of peaches.

In Montgomery, the Artisans and Vendors Market will offer homemade items at Riverfront Park.

Western Hills Park in Montgomery is holding its Family and Friends Day, which includes an Autism Awareness Walk.

At the Sheridan Heights Community Center, folks will be holding a summer block party.

The Montgomery Biscuits are hosting Knoxville this weekend, complete with an America’s 250 fireworks show Saturday night and Action 8’s Bark in the Park on Sunday.

And in Prattville, the final Beats and Eats Food Truck Friday of the season will be held.
