Woman injured in crash between two bass boats on Lake Mitchell
COOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – Two people were thrown into the water, with one injured, when two bass boats crashed on Lake Mitchell in Coosa County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash happened at about 7:15 last night in Hatchet Creek on the lake.
Investigators say 30-year-old Trevor Howell of Munford was operating a 17-foot boat, which hit another 17-foot boat operated by 24-year-old Duncan Davis of Deatsville.
Howell was thrown into the water but wasn’t hurt. A passenger in his boat, 38-year-old Natasha Holt was also thrown off the boat and was taken to Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery for treatment.
Davis was not hurt.
