Father, son arrested after search warrant executed

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A father and son are now in custody after authorities executed a search warrant at a home in Montgomery.
Around 8:30 a.m. Friday, agents with the Alabama Department of Corrections Narcotics and Law Enforcement Services Divisions and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency SWAT executed search warrant at a home in the 8700 block of Lindsey Lane.
ADOC and ALEA agents searched the home and discovered approximately 227 grams of amphetamines, a stolen handgun, a digital scale, and other contraband items.
Authorities arrested Jeremy Beamon, Sr. on a warrant through ADOC out of Escambia County on a charge of Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime. He was transported to the Escambia County Jail.
Authorities also arrested Jeremy Beamon, Jr. He was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd and was transported to Montgomery County Detention Center.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
