Millbrook man arrested for receiving stolen property
MILLBROOK, Ala. (WAKA) – Millbrook police have arrested a man for receiving stolen property and drug-related charges.
Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson says his officers responded Wednesday to the 400 block of Deatsville Highway in regarding to a breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property.
The victims told officers that they were in the process of moving when they discovered that their phone and a wallet had been taken from the vehicle.
After the initial report was completed, a GPS locator associated with the victim’s phone says it was active at a nearby apartment.
Officers would make contact with a suspect, who denied having the victim’s property.
After being questioned by officers, the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Dri’ Ques Holloway, of Millbrook, would later return the victim’s property.
Holloway was taken into custody and charged with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled
Substance. The drug charge was due to law enforcement finding contraband on Holloway.
Holloway is currently in the Elmore County Jail.
