Young girl killed in Monday morning shooting in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA Action 8) – Montgomery police are investigating after a young girl was shot Monday morning.
MPD tells Action 8 it happened around 2:20 A.M. in the 400 Block of Mulligan Drive.
MPD and Fire Medics responded to the scene, where officers located a young girl who sustained life-threatening injuries from a gun shot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The child’s identity and age have not been released. Police have not released any other details surrounding the investigation.
