Very Little Change In Our Weather This Week

The hot and humid days of summer will continue to be in play this week.   We’re expecting lower to mid 90s for highs with heat indices around 100.  Those scattered showers and t-storms will be possible each afternoon but not everyone will benefit from them.

In the meantime, isolated showers and t-storms will be possible into the evening hours.  A partly cloudy sky will settle in with temps hovering in the lower to mid 70s overnight.  Wednesday will pretty much be a repeat of Tuesday.  Temps climb into the lower to mid 90s before those scattered showers or t-storms develop.

We don’t see much change through the rest of the work week.  Hot and humid conditions will still be the rule.  Rain chances will be rather slim but some may see an isolated shower or t-storm during the late afternoon heating.

The upcoming weekend will not look that much different from the work week.  The heat and humid will remain in place.  Temps will continue to climb into the lower to mid 90s for highs.  Rain chances will increase as a frontal system moves into the state Sunday.  The boundary will linger over the area into Monday.  An increase coverage of showers and t-storms should help hold the heat down just a tad.
