Selma police investigate shots fired into home

SELMA, Ala. (WAKA) – Selma police are investigating shots that were fired into a home.

Police say just before 7:30PM on Tuesday, July 14, they responded to the shots that were fired into a home on Plant Street.

They say the homeowner told them that he and his family were inside when the shots were fired. While no one was hurt, officers say they saw severe damage to the home and several shell casings on the ground.
